Best Man
It took no time at all to realize that David has to be my best man. Who would be a better fit than someone who I grew up fighting with, yelling at, back talking to, and annoying; yet whenever I need him I can count on him to be there right by my side. David is with no doubt in my mind one of the best friends and brother that I could ask for. A lot of us know him as Dirty Dave Stephens and trust me it fits him so perfectly, but I know him as my loving, honest, trustworthy and most amazing brother and best man. Oh yeah and I know he is going to throw the best Bachelors party!!
Josh is also my brother, I couldn't ask for a better one and I definitely could not get married without him standing up there with me. Josh is an amazing person, he is so smart, caring and strong. I think one of the most awesome things about being Josh's little brother was I never got picked on by anyone who knew that he was my older brother. Every time someone got close to picking on me someone would stop them and say "Dude, don't mess with him, his older brother is Josh Stephens." Josh has grown up to be such an amazing man and Father, I could only hope to one day be as good as him.
Matt, he is one of the smartest person I know. I met Matt my Sophomore yeah of high school in gym class and I would have never thought that I was going to spend most of my life crammed in a van with this guy, but I couldn't imagine it any other way. Matt and I have grown so close over the last three years and he has helped me and been by my side through every good and bad time. He's the type of friend that everyone needs to have, he's always truthful and straight up with you even if it may hurt a little; but he is also compassionate, a great listener, caring and is always there to help even if it puts himself in a tough position.
Josh is the lead guitarist in my band and also one of the most awesome and talented person I know. One thing I admire most about Josh is his dedication. When Josh does something, he does it right and puts 110% effort into it. This goes with being a band mate and also being a friend. He is such a genuine person and so easy to get along with and have a good time. I know that Josh is going to make our wedding day such a fun night.
Andrew and I have been friends since second grade, even though we have been apart now for three years, our friendship has only gotten so much stronger. I know that no matter what happens I can count on him to be there with arms wide open. Besides Tessa, Andrew is the only person who knows everything about me, every secret, every fault, everything. We might not have the same parents but Andrew has always been one of my brothers. I admire him in so many different ways and share so many great memories with him. Andrew and I always have so much fun together, whether we are throwing a blown up rubber ball down the hallway while hitting his mom's chandeliers or just playing video games until I fall asleep, there is never a dull moment.
Cap, he is the funniest person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He has gone from being my brothers friend who thought I was some annoying punk kid to being one of my closest and dearest friends. One thing I love about Cap so much is the joy that he brings to the people around him. It seems so easy for him to make everyone laugh and smile. Besides being the funniest guy I know, Cap is also someone I know I can count on for anything. He is such an amazing friend to have and I cherish so many wonderful memories with him. I can't wait to be an old man with this guy still cracking jokes and having a great time.
Danny, you can't not love this guy, its impossible. He is by far the most charming person I know and he always knows how to bring a smile to my face. Danny is also so smart, when he puts his mind to it he can do anything. Danny and I have really grown up together, not only becoming adults together but we figured out who we are and who we want to be, together. Over the last five years Danny has brought such joy and happiness to my life, and we have had some of the greatest times together and I know that there is many more fun times and beautiful memories to come.
